Hello, my name is Danielle, and I live in the San Diego County of California, USA with my boyfriend of 15 years. We have had both dogs (chihuahua and rat terrier 〈3) and cats (orange and void) in the past, and currently sometimes foster with a local senior rescue. My job is IT adjacent - I help out for the truly technical folks. I’m newer here, started October 2026.

Some things I enjoy are watching birds in my backyard, car trips, trips of the mind, roller skating/inline skating, hiking, thrifting, going to concerts/raves, (latest concert was Alice Cooper - he still sounds so amazing), geocaching, trying to better myself (joined a community emergency response team) and more.

Things I am looking personally forward to in 2026:
-Postcrossing related - Meetup (my 2nd!), stamp show, pen show, vintage postcard show
-Concerts - Ghost, Ninajirachi
-Community - Disaster Preparedness class, Narcan class, fostering more dogs and cats!
-Hoping to plant a garden - please feel free to send tips! I’m not a green thumb
-Keep making delicious things with my sourdough starter

For cards, what I like most is for you to send what you want to share! And decorate how you prefer. If you like to write a lot, please do so! If you like to decorate, I love to see it! Envelope or not, all good on that front. Everything is a little slice of life that I get to see, and I love that.

That being said, I know that lists can be helpful, so here are some things I enjoy:
