Many warm greetings for you from the most southern city of Chinese continent, Zhanjiang (formerly known as Kouang-Tchéou-Wan) I'm Sềng-jĩ (Dany), a guy who likes reading, music, learning languages, writing and recording his life. I'm now working from home as a Chinese-Portuguese translator and revisor for short-videos. For the future, I plan to go to Brazil for pursuing my postgraduate study there. But so far, this is still a "plan", after all, who knows where life will take me, right?

I'm fond of linguistics, and recently I've been devoting to creat a latinization scheme for my mother tongue, which is "湛江白話" in Chinese and could be translated as the vernacular of the city of Zhanjiang (VZJ) in English. In the language phylogenetic tree, it's a kind of YUE CHINESE under the Chinese branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family.

Hobbies: I like Brazilian literature and currently I'm reading Quincas Borba written by Machado de Assis. I'm also passionate about language learning and studing the gastronomy. I think it's a good idea to learn to make delicious food using the language you learn. As for the music, I have to say, that I can't live without Jazz, Samba, Bossa Nova and Brazilian Popular Music. Here I'd like to recommend some of my favorite to you: "Tempo Velho" by Douglas Germano, "Samba E Amor" and "João e Maria" by Chico Buarque, "Se o caso é chorar" by Tom Zé and "A Carta" by Renato Russo.
