Greetings, Happy Postcard Community! I have enjoyed mail exchange since childhood when my family moved away from the extended family and we wrote to stay in touch. I am a Postcrossing member, penpal partner, and I write for projects such as The World Needs More Love Letters, Love for Our Elders, and Letters Against Isolation. As a 10 year-old in Social studies class, I first learned about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Their story, and that of their daughter, Elizabeth I, sparked an interest in British history that endures to this day, decades later. It has expanded from the Tudors to the Plantagenets, other societies during these time periods, and specific people and events from these eras. My birthday is Elizabeth I's accession day, which was so thrilling when I realized it! I am a lifelong learner and also hold great interest in language, sciences, and anthropology. My husband and I have a combined family of 6 children, 4 grandchildren, a fairy godbaby, 3 pampered pooches and 4 grandpuppies. Life is rich and beautiful.
