Hello, my name is Karissa and I live in Miami, Florida which is called the Capital of Latin America. People from all over the world live here. Miami is a paradise November thru March. One of my favorite activities is going to the Atlantic Ocean. It is very relaxing to stand in the water and let the waves crash over you. In the past I lived in Las Vegas and Seattle.

I love to write postcards and also have several snail mail pen pals and contribute to the charity Letters Against Isolation. I’m a retired high school teacher. I used to teach history, government and geography. I love politics and learning about different cultures. Since I used to teach Geography I do prefer postcards that show pictures of different places. There are so many types of postcards that I will love whatever you send. Please write a little about yourself, what it is like where you live or share a quote.

It’s very hot here half of the year so I spend a lot of time inside reading, doing crafts, watching movies/TV and cuddling my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I'm an Evangelical Christian and try to read the bible every day. Some of my favorite books and shows are mysteries. I’d like to learn to make stained glass and continue to complete rug hooking projects.
