Hello, Postie! ✨

My name is Hiromi. I'm Filipina-Japanese 🇵🇭 🇯🇵, living in the beautiful Philippines.

I'm a student and also an English teacher to kids ages 3-15 from all around the world ! 🌍✨. I’m all about self-growth, exploring my self-concept, and diving deep into the world within and around me. 🌱 I love contemplating the mysteries of life and how we all fit into the grand scheme of things. 🤍

Here are some of my biggest loves:

✨ Language Learning: I’m absolutely fascinated by languages and the way they shape our world, culture, and identity. I’ve learned, will learn, and have dabbled in many languages! It’s so amazing how languages unite people but also create divides between communities.

✨ Culture: I love learning about different cultures, customs, and celebrations from across the globe. Traditional folk dances? Count me in! I love dancing! 🩰

✨ Traveling: Exploring new places and seeing the world is one of my greatest joys! ✈️ Even just going to new cafes and chilling is my thing! tea, dessert, and a deep convo? my perfect combo!

✨Cuisine: I love trying new cuisine so much! I am especially fond of Korean, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and Turkish cuisine! I mean I can eat baklava after eating pizza is so right for me! (I have a sweet tooth and I also loveee spicy food! 🌶)

✨ Collection: I also have a lot of foreign language books, stickers, stationery, and other trinkets. I love the idea of collecting, though I tend to be mindful and intentional with what I collect.

✨Dancing: I love dancing and I especially love latin dances and folk dances! (I want to properly enroll in dance classes to learn latin dances like salsa, bachata, and more! + I also like ballroom dances especially Tango.)

✨Reading: I enjoy reading books mostly in English and my target languages. I am an intensive reader (I annotate my books and ponder deeply!) 📖

✨ Dogs: I have four! 🐶
