Hello,

I live in Southern California with my boys: husband, now adult son, who is in college. When my son was younger we did a lot of postcrossing to teach him about the world. I enjoyed it so I decided to start sending cards for myself.

I enjoy reading, writing and traveling. I also do a lot of crafts. I don't think I am particular skilled and any one type of craft. I consider myself more of a dabbler in many arts.

. I try to do something active everyday. I enjoy Kayaking, hiking, and trying new things. I am working on my scuba certification. The ocean is my happy place.

I used to be an elementary school librarian and love books, especially kid's ones. I read a lot of YA and middle grade novels. Today's picture books are amazing and there are so many amazing ones, including non-fiction. Now I'm hoping to publish my own children's books one day.

I like all kinds of nostalgia. I love vintage Hollywood and old pin-ups. I also have a vinyl record collection and about 7 typewriters. I enjoy history and especially aviation. Dinosaurs still make me smile like a little kid (and fluffy cows).

Any postcards are great! (the weirder the better) I love art cards or even homemade ones.

I do appreciate the stamps as well. (I like to see how different they are in other countries, including the postmarks).
