User's Informaion
On weekends, I enjoy trying new drinks like coffee or boba at different cafés. Whenever there is a seasonal menu item, that's what I order. It's fun to taste new things! What is your favorite drink? If you don't wish to write about that, a few other questions include:
- When is the last time you saw a butterfly?
- What is your favorite story about ducks?
- Where would you like to visit again? This June I visited Japan. I enjoyed searching for train station stamps and walking through gardens. My favorite attractions were Himeji Castle, Kyoto Railway Museum, and a Tokyo Swallows baseball game. I also enjoyed foods I had only seen in TV shows.
I enjoy traveling but, I think I might enjoy planning the itinerary more. Dreaming about a trip by reading travel blogs, watching videos, and perusing reviews to understand what the possibilities are is a critical part of having a good trip.
If you happen to have postcards that features:
• Hydrangeas (it's a type of flower)
• Penguins
• Bunnies
• Sharks
• Pokémon
• Studio Ghibli (Kiki's Delivery Service - a story about a girl becoming independent is near to my heart)
• Peanuts (I have read every single comic strip)
• Mexico (I will be vacationing there in October and spent 10 amazing days in Mexico City a couple years ago.)
• Sanrio (Tuxedo Sam, Usahana, and Cinnamon Roll are my favorites)
• Watercolors
• Risograph art style prints
• Illustrated (I love storybooks, cottagecore, intricate detailing, etc.)
• Has rounded corners
• From a mail club (I am subscribed to a few artist mail clubs and wish I could subscribe to more. For those unfamiliar, a mail club is a monthly subscription run by an independent artist/creator who mails an envelope of stationary like postcards, prints, stickers exclusive to that month.)
• Handmade (Collage, Drawn, Painted, etc)I would appreciate them. However, I understand if you do not have those postcards and I am grateful to receive whatever you have.
While I've only recently joined postcrossing, I am enjoying the variety of postcards I've received. A few came with stickets, washi tape, and inked stamps for decoration. Those were fun to receive. I already had a stamp collection (with a special affinity for "dead countries"/countries that don't exist anymore) so joining this site has made me appreciate mail even more.
