I’m a passionate science teacher based in Beijing, though my hometown (and my beloved parents) are 2000km away. In China, people like me who move to big cities for work away from our hometowns are sometimes called “beipiao” (“northern drifters”). At heart, I’m a true social butterfly!

When I’m not untangling equations, you can find me:

🎮 Geeking out over strategic games—from digital battlegrounds (Civilization VI, tactical games) to tabletop classics (Modern Art, Power Grid, chess).
🎬 Devouring captivating stories on screen, whether Oscar/Cannes gems, mind-bending sci-fi, or gripping dramas (I’m still decoding Westworld!).
🚴 Moving my body… well, mainly on my commute by bike these days. I dream of diving, skydiving, and rock climbing, but my body is usually convinced that the sofa or bed is the ultimate adventure zone.
🧩 Building intricate worlds, brick by brick—my LEGO passion is a fun exercise in creativity, patience, and precision.
❤️ Giving back to the community through volunteering and blood donation—small acts with big heart.
