What is shared about oneself:
Hello! My name is Matthew. I’ve recently been on a path of self-discovery and personal growth, which is what led me to this site. I live a pretty average life in Florida. I work in healthcare, volunteer in my free time, and share a home with a friend and our small army of cats.

Lately, I’ve been trying to live more slowly and intentionally. I enjoy reading, drawing, cooking, and birdwatching. If it doesn’t involve staring at a screen, I will probably find a way to enjoy it.

My friends have always called me an “old soul,” so postcards feel like a natural fit. I love browsing through them in antique shops and like to think that maybe 50+ years from now, someone might come across one of mine and enjoy it just the same.

I mostly eat whole, unprocessed foods, so if you have any favorite recipes, I would love to hear them.

Postcard desires:
These are just a few things I’m drawn to if you’d like a little guidance, but truly, feel free to send anything. I love and appreciate every card I receive:

I’m especially drawn to blue tones (light blue, navy, pastels) and anything with skies, like sunrises, sunsets, clouds, and starry nights. I love moon and star imagery, hearts, smiley faces, and simple, happy designs. Soft colors, minimalism, and anything calm or peaceful always catch my eye.

I also enjoy nature scenes like oceans, gentle waves, mountains, forests, flowers, and quiet paths, especially with rain, fog, or cozy lighting. I have a soft spot for cozy themes like coffee, tea, books, and quiet moments, as well as vintage postcards, travel themes, maps, and soft cityscapes.

Cute animals, light humor, kind messages, and anything that feels relaxing, warm, or comforting are always appreciated.

I also love ephemera, so if you have any small paper items to share, I would really appreciate it. Things like ticket stubs, receipts, clippings, stamps, or anything a bit worn and well-traveled feels special to me.

If you feel inspired, I would enjoy hearing something small from your day, a quiet moment, a kindness from a stranger, or anything that made you pause. I’m drawn to postcards that feel like little slices of real life, but truly, write whatever speaks to you most.
