Hello! I am asking for some help from my friends and fellow lovers of postcards and written notes. In November of 2026 my grandmother Ginny will turn 80 and I am hoping that I can gather as many postcard Happy Birthdays as I can this year for her. In 2017 my grandmother lost her voice to cancer. So much of the way she communicated before was with her voice and loosing that brought a special meaning to written communication. It has become a beautiful way to share with her and those around her. This year I would like to celebrate her next birthday milestone with an album of postcards wishing her Happy Birthday from people around the world! Postcards are a special passion of mine and I would love to share it with her in a meaningful way. In lieu of sending me a postcard, if you would be so kind as to send a Happy Birthday card or any other postcard wishing her a Happy 80th Birthday I would be very grateful! Please address it to Ginny and send to me. I am hoping to keep the cards 4x6in (10x15cm) so I can fit them in an album but any card would be wonderful! Some of her likes include;
- Owls (her house is covered in them)
- M&Ms (She collected the dispensers for many years)
- Her faith (Christianity)
- Crosses
- Churches
- Cardinals (My grandpa *passed in 2017* collected them because they were his favorite baseball team)
- Makeup (she was a Mary K consultant for many many years)

Hello, Postcards are my favorite hobby! I got started only a few years ago but they still bring me joy every day! Seeing the creativity of those around the world is a true blessing! I also love to crochet and craft with my family. I enjoy doing puzzles and hanging out with my kids. After finding my love for postcards, it quickly turned into a love for stamps too! There is so much history in stamps and I enjoy sending all sorts of stamps. Thank you for anything you send! It will be cherished!
