I'm Maria Paola and I live in Genova, Italy, the birthplace of Cristoforo Colombo!

I work as a naval architect in a shipyard.

I'm passionate about learning languages and always curious to learn about other cultures.
Music is a big part of my life – I trained as a classical pianist – and I also love binge-watching TV series in my free time (now into the Asian drama rabbit hole).
I like reading contemporary fiction and essays on history and social issues but I also enjoy going back to the classics.
